Mindworks Surrey

Mindworks Surrey is an emotional wellbeing and mental health service for children and young people in Surrey. Their website has a huge range of resources to support young people, as well as information for parents/carers.
The Mental Health Support Team is part of the Mindworks School Based Needs Team in Surrey, which is a school-based service supporting the mental health of children and young people. They offer support and advice to students via a referral process. If you feel that you may need additional support with your emotional wellbeing or mental health, please see your Pastoral & Wellbeing Leader or member of the SEND team.

ChildLine can offer support with many different aspects of your mental health and has people available to talk to, in lots of different ways, 24 hours a day. To get in touch you can call 0800 1111 or use their website.

Kooth
'Kooth' is a provider that has counsellors at the other end of the phone. There are various chat groups, which are monitored and completely anonymous. You can go on and meet people your own age, who may be going through something similar to you. This could be a great starting point to seeking out the support you need.

CYP Safe Haven - Redhill

The CYP Haven is a safe space where students can talk about worries and mental health in a confidential, friendly and supportive environment. At the centre there is a Youth Mental Health Practitioner, a Children’s Rights Worker and a Youth Worker. https://www.cyphaven.net/home/redhill/
Lucy Rayner Foundation

The Lucy Rayner Foundation provides 1:1 counselling by a team of qualified counsellors in a safe, therapeutic environment. They offer six sessions for a minimal charge depending on individual circumstances.
Counselling can help with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, low self-esteem, anger, or difficult life events, such as bereavement, relationship breakdown or work-related stress. In counselling, people are encouraged to talk about their feelings and emotions with a counsellor who listens and supports without judgement or criticism. Papyrus

PAPYRUS is a national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide. PAPYRUS was founded in 1997 by a mother, Jean Kerr, from Lancashire following the loss of her son to suicide. The HOPELINK helpline is available to anyone under 35 who are experiencing thoughts of suicide, and anyone who may be concerned about them. Papyrus' trained suicide prevention advisers are trained to help young people focus on staying safe from suicide. Their training enables them to provide advice and support to help forward and stay alive. If you are reading this in school and having thoughts of suicide or you know someone who is, please find a trusted adult, a member of the safeguarding team and tell them how you are feeling and we can support you to get help.
